Frames in Decor
I have a habit of going out looking for interesting things in popular stores, I always think I can give a deal and value a piece that at first is not so attractive, I do this with pieces that I also want to recycle, I always think that everything has a purpose. potential and can be improved.
Well, this week I went to one of those little stores and I didn't have to buy anything specific, I looked around and found 2 super cheap frames, I decided to buy them, because I can always need it at the last minute to compose an environment, use it on a boring wall etc…. the do it yourself bug bit me this week.
Just spy:
They don't have a good quality, that's a fact, it looks like they were made of leftover pine wood, it didn't even have glass, but for what I have in mind they serve very well.
Paints and Scrap Papers
For those who love to do it yourself, paints are indispensable materials…. I chose to use spray paints because I think they are faster and easier to work with, but you can use the pva ones without a problem, I had some scrap paper, in fact my new passion is collecting scrap paper, they help a lot when it comes to create something along those lines, covering furniture…
I used Colorgin's inks, they are great for that, believe me, it's not advertising but they are really very good, 2 coats are enough, wait for the drying time according to the instructions on the package.
I chose these 2 scrap papers with more modern prints and there is one with a chevron print, a trend that is still on the rise, remember, I already mentioned them here
And Voilá, Redesigned Frames
So here's the tip, you can give !UP! in your frames, in case you are not happy with them, I opted for strong colors and cheerful prints, because my living room is all neutral, white walls and the tones in which I painted the frames along with the choice of prints brought vivacity, besides it was a bargain. Did you see! You can make the house more beautiful, cozy and don't need so much investment, just have a little bit of disposition.
